Hong Kong, 11th September, 2024 - Get ready to raise a stein and join the festivities as Central Market’s iconic Oktoberfest returns for another year of Bavarian bliss! From 17th October to 2nd November, Central Market will team up with Stormies Central Market, Chef’s Market, Jebsen Beverage Co. Ltd., along with the culinary expertise of Angelo McDonnell, CEO of Stormies and Chef's Market. Together with collaborative partners Lufthansa Group, Nina Hospitality and TVB, guests will be transported to the heart of Germany with the “Central Market Oktoberfest 2024” with Hong Kong’s favourite German band Die Notenhobler. As a dynamic “21st Century Marketplace”, Central Market aims to bring the true German culture to the historic atmosphere of the heritage building in the heart of Central.

The beloved German Legendary Band Die Notenhobler that has electrified Hong Kong for over 3 decades is back by popular demand this year! Led by the talented musicians Martin, Uwe, and Thomas, Die Notenhobler will be performing live every night from 6:30pm to 10:00pm, bringing their infectious energy and traditional Bavarian tunes to create an unforgettable atmosphere.

This year's “Central Market Oktoberfest 2024" brings together two popular beer brands: Löwenbräu, which has been producing the essence of German brewing for a century and is also one of the founding breweries of Oktoberfest, and Franziskaner, one of the best-selling classic German wheat beers. Indulge in a culinary journey through Germany with a delectable menu curated by Angelo, Noel, Sammy, and renowned German chef Jörn — from crispy pork knuckles and award-winning sausages to other mouthwatering German specialties, there's something for every palate. There will also be a range of playful and challenging beer-themed games for party-goers, including the “Stein Holding Contest" to test skills and endurance, the “Beer Drinking Contest" to challenge speed and drinking capacity, the all-ages-friendly, "Balloon-Pumping Challenge” to test physical fitness and speed. Beer enthusiasts are encouraged to join in with their family and friends to take on these exciting challenges and add an extra fun to the festivities.
